Face cutout standees are cutouts that you can stand behind and stick your face in. To get one, you have to go to Isabelle and do a public works project for it.
At first, your standee will be plain. You can change their designs by going in front of the standee, and pressing A. You need to use a standee pattern for these, they do not use regular patterns. You can make your own pattern, or you can use some of these I found online.
